Moodle User Guides began in 2017 as a collaborative project between Amy and Ben, two graduate students taking online classes at Western Oregon University. We were both studying education and technology, using Moodle as students to take fully online classes, and working to provide technical support, training, and professional development to faculty using Moodle.
We created this site to offer an open, accessible, and user-friendly resource for instructors using Moodle. Our goal is to connect the practical aspects of Moodle with the educational strategies that enhance teaching and learning. By integrating how-to guides with insights into effective pedagogy, we aim to help instructors make informed decisions and optimize their use of Moodle.
We hope this site is useful to the worldwide community of educators who use Moodle every day.
